Don’t eat the marshmallow

Don’t eat the marshmallow

By Cam McLellan

One of the easiest ways to supercharge your property portfolio is by making a few small sacrifices today and delaying that gratification until you have built your wealth. For years I drove around in a beat up old Hilux worth half the amount of money other people I knew were spending on cars. Today I can drive around any car I want and live in any house I want. It wasn’t because I worked harder. Instead all I did was sacrifice my lifestyle in the early days which allow me to enjoy much more time and toys with my family now.

(PS I don’t want to rub it in but I’m sitting at home now on a Friday morning because that’s what I felt like doing).

This video TED did from Joachim de Posada back in 2009 is one of my old favourites. Check it out.
