Matthew Lewison

CEO

Matt is an experienced entrepreneur and accomplished property investor with over 20 years of experience in residential and commercial real estate. He is also the CEO of OpenCorp, responsible for the day-to-day running of the business and driving its future growth.

Matt began investing more than 20 years ago when he was just 18 years old and quickly amassed a profitable portfolio. He was fortunate to have some great mentors along the way, including his father who inspired him to take an interest in residential property.

His passion for residential property has not diminished. He is committed to sharing his knowledge and passion for property to help improve the lives of all Australians through housing investment and choice. Matt co-founded Open Corp in 2006 with his brother, Allister, and friend, Cam McLellan, so that they could focus our efforts and have a positive impact on more people.

Together they have written a best-selling book, helped > 2,000 investors get into the property market where they have so far made over $837m profits as a result, and has built one of Australia's fastest growing companies being recognised on the BRW Fast 100 numerous times.

Matt also holds degrees in Engineering and Corporate Finance and regularly extend his financial services qualifications.
