Lisa runs an automotive business with her brother. She had some money that she wanted to invest but didn’t know where to start.

“I was looking for someone to help me invest some money and they had a property show at the Exhibition Centre.

I spoke to three or four different people on the day but OpenCorp were the easiest to talk to. They had a really clear vision of what they had in mind and how it would suit me personally not just anyone who was investing. It really seemed to take into account what I wanted.”

In conversation with OpenCorp, Lisa discovered a surprisingly different way to achieve what she was after.

I went in with the plan of buying things outright and they came along with the syndicate idea which suited me better as far as cashflow and investment timeframes was concerned.  I think this is the best way I could have gone for what I'm looking for.”

Despite being a relatively small investor, Lisa is happy with her dealings with OpenCorp.

“I'm very happy with it. The most impressive part of dealing with OpenCorp is how open they are and how easy it is to talk to them.

 How much time they are willing to spend with you and even though I went in initially with one investment in mind it didn't bother them that that was not what they ended up getting out of me. And that I went for a smaller investment they still made me feel like they're very happy to have my business and that makes it a lot easier to feel comfortable investing money that I don't want to lose.”

She is also impressed with how the team at OpenCorp handle things when hiccups occur.

“I feel like there's nothing hidden. Everything is out in the open and they've always got time for me which as a small investor that's very important.

I was very happy with the returns from OpenCorp on the first investment that I had because even though the projections were very good oftentimes that's not what happens at the end because things go wrong and even though there was some hiccups with the actual building they were explained to me as immediately

that they happened and the return was still very good.”

Lisa is very comfortable with how she is being treated by OpenCorp and has some words of advice to anyone thinking of getting started.

“I'm on my third project with OpenCorp now. I'm really happy it's sort of like lots of small investments that makes me feel like I've got something backing me up.

I would definitely recommend OpenCorp to family and friends just because I think a lot of my family and friends are not used to dealing with these kinds of investments and it's something that I think everyone can do. They make it easy to get onboard and start.”
